Happy Birthday to Grandaddy and me!!!! Soon we will be celebrating the birthday of Jesus. I got so many great toys this year from my family and I now understand why unwrapping them is so much fun. Thank you everybody! I can't believe how fast time goes by. It feels like yesterday I had just arrived to this world. I am also happy to report I am potty trained and mom and dad are so proud of me. Below you'll see some great pictures of Halloween and Isola (Bubu) and Guillermo 's (Memo)visit. We had so much fun with them. They took me out to a really nice sushi restaurant and I had the chicken teriyaki. It was so yummy. I will miss them and I'll have to visit them next time. Even though we didn't take any pictures for Thanksgiving we had a great time and mom made a turkey lasagna. Again yummy! Camera was out of order during this holiday but not to worry it is fixed and we will have pictures of my birthday and Christmas!! Merry Christmas and be sure to be good because Santa Claus is coming very soon!!

Gigi, Grandad, Museums and the Zoo!

Hi there! I've been saying "Hi there" a lot lately. These pics below are all about fun. Gigi and Grandad were here visiting and it was so much fun!!! We went all over "America's Finest City" visiting the tourist sights. I like the ones of the Zoo and Museums. Which ones do you like?!

Yeah! What fun! :) The past few months of 2010 have been a blast to say the least. We spent lots of time around La Jolla Cove and Shores. Since it wasn't tourist season we had lots of room to play and no traffic which was nice. We also took some pictures at the San Diego Zoo. You probably think the ones of the fish tank are at an aquarium, but guess what? You're wrong! In fact they are actually part of the hippo exhibit. Another place we went to was Seaport Village. I loved looking at all of the big boats at the marina. I also enjoyed the view of the San Diego Harbor and Coronado Island. Oh! and the train you see me on with mommy was at Balboa park. Well my fellow followers I'm enjoying your blogs as well and thanks for visiting!

Christmas 2009

Merry Christmas and Happy 2010! Yes I'm 1 year old already and my oh my this year sure flew by. This was my second Christmas and I knew this year to help with opening the gifts. It was so much fun! I tried to get a picture with Santa but as soon as I saw him and sat down in his lap I cried and so it looks like we'll have to try again next year. Please be patient everyone these things take time. On the plus side though I am improving on my Farsi and am able to say "mam bede" which means give me food and if I'm thirsty I say "ab" which means water. For Spanish and English I am watching PBS shows in both languages. The first pic you'll see below is my frog potty so we'll see how long this takes to conquer remember Rome was not built in a day. Again be patient I am doing the best I can. Got a new car seat as well which is great because now I am facing forward and can see where we're going. So much has been happening lately and I can't wait to see what's next on the agenda. Stay tuned folks!

It's time to post!! I've been so busy lately and having so much fun. I've discovered where the pots and pans are hidden in the kitchen. The best is to pull out all of them and scatter them all over the floor and bang them together making loud noises! We also having been taking more field trips lately and getting out of the house. Perhaps because I'm becoming more mobile and need to get out. You'll see in the pics we went up to South Coast Winery and it was a very nice time. I like the car that Dad and I are next to but he wouldn't let me touch it because it's not ours. When we had dinner I remember enjoying listening to the guy at the bar playing the piano. Maybe we get one some day! The other pics are of course my birthday and it was all about ELMO! I like Elmo and was happy to see we had hats, napkins, plates and cake with an Elmo theme! Thank you for the presents!

It's Autumn in San Diego!

Hello Family and Friends! :) So recently I just took my first steps and my Dad got it on film so you can all watch. It's very exciting and I will continue to keep practicing and trying not to bump into things too much. This was my first Halloween as well as my Grandma's and we had so much fun handing out candy and then visiting downtown to see all the different costumes. My Mom came up with the design for the Jack O' Lantern and was the one who cut it out. There is one picture of my Dad with the knife that makes it seem like he did it but don't let that fool you. Mom created this one and it sure is scary! There is also some pics of me dressed up for Halloween. Dad was the procrastinator but promises he'll dress up next time. You'll also see a video of me demonstrating the proper technique in getting down from an elevated platform in this case a bed. So enjoy the latest footage and I miss you and love you all!

Uncle Miguel, Aunt Jessie and Susanna's visit to San Diego!

So hopefully I still have some followers to my site. I know it's been a while since I've posted some pictures but I've been very busy lately. Recently we had Uncle Miguel, Aunt Jessie, and my cousin Susanna stay with us for a few days and it was so much fun! I got to meet them for the first time! I also had my baptism and Uncle Miguel and Aunt Jessie are also my godparents which is cool. They seem very spiritual and I can tell they will help guide me on the right path... We also went to the world famous San Diego Zoo and I saw lots of animals like elephants, bears, and lions... next time I have to make sure to check out the gorillas and I hope my Uncle Miguel, Aunt Jessie and Susanna are able to stay longer on their next trip out here!

What else is new? Lets see... Oh I just got a new baseball bat and ball which Dad + Mom are trying to teach me but I keep reminding them that I still have to learn to crawl first in order to fetch the ball. Anyways I miss you all and thanks for stopping by and enjoy the photos! :)

Hello Party People!
Sorry I haven't been writing lately but a lot has been happening. My Aunt Judy was here visiting from North Carolina and we had a blast. It's always nice to meet new members of the family. Next month I'm thrilled about meeting my Uncle Miguel, Aunt Jessie and my cousin Susanna. Yeah! So I think I'm teething and boy does it hurt. I want to chew on everything. The best thing to chew are my toes which I just recently discovered I had. Dad and Mom think I'm stretching or practicing Yoga but I'm really trying to eat my feet. I roll every now and then but I don't like being on my belly because I have yet to figure out how to roll back. I'm talking more and have created my own language which involves some shrieks here and there. I hope all of you are well and I send you my best!

Gigi and Grandaddy's Visit!

Hi Gang just wanted to let everyone know that March was a very busy month. Gigi and Grandaddy made the trip out from North Carolina just to come and see me. It was so much fun but too short. We went out to some restaurants and I got so spoiled with lots of goodies. It was also nice for both my grandparents to meet my grandmother from Iran. I also got to go visit a really nice art gallery in La Jolla. Grandaddy told me about the Grand Canyon trip he took with my Dad and my Uncles after we saw some great pictures of the Grand Canyon. Now this month won't be as much fun for in about 2 weeks I have to back to the doctor's for my second round of shots. Yuck! I hope everyone is doing well and I can't wait to meet the rest of the family very soon! :)

Hey everybody!! I am doing great although I had to go to the doctor's a couple of times this month to get my first set of vaccinations. Talk about not fun. It was horrible. However soon after that I was back in my routine of playing in my underwater park, listening to Dad and Mom's stories, hanging out with Grandma, sleeping and eating. I now know who my Mom, Dad and Grandma are. I can recognize them and I know what roles they play. I have to say I am growing up very fast! I still like to be held and I love to suck on my pacifiers. Looking at faces is fun not just humans but stuff animals as well. I smile and I make lots of noises when I'm playing. I also can turn my head and am able to lift it up when I'm laying on my tummy. The other day I was on Skype I got to meet my cousin Susanna for the first time it was very exciting! She was on with my Uncle Miguel, GG, and Grandad. Technology is amazing! Anyways I posted some pics of myself so let me know what you think. Oh and I took a big road trip up to LA with the fam which was fun. Ok bye bye.

So I'm very fortunate to have an ocean close by to play in. You can see by the pics I'm having a great time in the underwater gym making friends with all of the sea creatures. Recently I've hired a new bodyguard Mr. Chilly Willy to help Pooh with some of his security duties. I hope everyone had a Happy New Year!

Greetings to all! So yes I'm finally here after sitting in mom's belly for 9 mths. Can you believe that? That's a LONG time..... Okay so a little about myself. I was born on the 15th of December just like my cousin Alexandra Emiliana and I am a Sagittarius for those who follow the zodiac calendar. Now did you know that a Sagittarius baby will never like being alone, even when he has to sleep. He will be the most comfortable amongst people who are talking, laughing and playing around. In fact, he loves to be around cheerful people. It's true I looked it up on the internet. Oh and can't forget my Grandpa is a Sagittarian too. Now the name Ricardo means "Brave" and the middle name Arman in Persian means "Big Goals/Dreams lie ahead" have to figure that one out as life goes on and in German it means "Brave". The parents have nicknamed me "Rich" perhaps due to the recession. Now some other people I share my birthday with are as follows: Friedensreich Hundertwasser - Austrian artist/architect who loved using vibrant colors, Tim Conway - Funny man from the "Carol Burnett show", Stan Kenton - Jazz orchestra leader who composed "Artistry in Rhythym", J. Paul Getty - Oil Billionaire, renowned philanthropist and art lover and last but not least Don Johnson from Miami Vice. Okay so I hope my spelling is okay remember I'm only 11 days old. Now I have to go take a nap. To be continued.
