Christmas 2009

Merry Christmas and Happy 2010! Yes I'm 1 year old already and my oh my this year sure flew by. This was my second Christmas and I knew this year to help with opening the gifts. It was so much fun! I tried to get a picture with Santa but as soon as I saw him and sat down in his lap I cried and so it looks like we'll have to try again next year. Please be patient everyone these things take time. On the plus side though I am improving on my Farsi and am able to say "mam bede" which means give me food and if I'm thirsty I say "ab" which means water. For Spanish and English I am watching PBS shows in both languages. The first pic you'll see below is my frog potty so we'll see how long this takes to conquer remember Rome was not built in a day. Again be patient I am doing the best I can. Got a new car seat as well which is great because now I am facing forward and can see where we're going. So much has been happening lately and I can't wait to see what's next on the agenda. Stay tuned folks!

It's time to post!! I've been so busy lately and having so much fun. I've discovered where the pots and pans are hidden in the kitchen. The best is to pull out all of them and scatter them all over the floor and bang them together making loud noises! We also having been taking more field trips lately and getting out of the house. Perhaps because I'm becoming more mobile and need to get out. You'll see in the pics we went up to South Coast Winery and it was a very nice time. I like the car that Dad and I are next to but he wouldn't let me touch it because it's not ours. When we had dinner I remember enjoying listening to the guy at the bar playing the piano. Maybe we get one some day! The other pics are of course my birthday and it was all about ELMO! I like Elmo and was happy to see we had hats, napkins, plates and cake with an Elmo theme! Thank you for the presents!
